Hotel a Fort Polk

“The woman at the desk was lovely and sweet, but the hotel is clearly in need of a lot of repairs and renovations. The elevator starts with the sound of squealing gears, our room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, the shower nozzle was loose and the hot water didn’t fully warm until the third of my children bathed. The pool was up to the edge, diluted with rain water and no apparent drainage or filtration, causing the water to have a green hue. The outside door had no lock mechanism and swings open...

“The hot tub hasn’t worked the last two times we’ve stayed here. The water in the sink and the tub neither drain well. During the shower the water is about ankle high. The sink also had the same drainage problem while brushing our teeth. The staff was nice and breakfast was good. ”
